Other information

XTB (eXplore The Bible) is a series of daily Bible reading notes for children of the 7-11 age group, with puzzles, pictures and prayers.

XTB is beautifully presented with full-colour illustrations and is a series of 12 books which, if used on a quarterly basis, will help a child cover all of the main books, themes and characters of the Bible in 3 years.

Look out for Table Talk - a book of daily Bible times for families with children aged from 4 upwards. The Bible passages are the same each day for XTB and Table Talk - so you can use the two books together, or on their own. Whichever suits you best.

Table of contents

  • Days 1-20 look at Mark chs 4-8
  • Day 21 starts Joshua and continues until day 40 ending in ch 8
  • Days 41-55 continue in Ephesians
  • And back into Joshua chs 21-24 from days 56-65
  • A series of puzzles and questions at the very end of the book offer a chance to look into other parts of the Bible not covered here and some budding comedians try their hand at making you laugh (or groan) on the XTB Joke Page.

Excellent

(Review written for 'XTB Subscription')

Excellent! Our 8 yr old boy n 6 yr old daughter love doing it first thing in the morning by themselves Takes them maybe 10 mins and they really enjoy it. We hope it will help them love God's word and get into daily habit of sitting at Jesus ' feet - it seems to be doing that so far .Can't recommend it enough.

Highly recommended

A first-rate bible reading resource for our 9 year old son. Clear, thought-provoking teaching with interesting puzzles to do which reinforce it. He loves doing it and never wants to miss one before he goes to bed.

Good fun. Well presented

My 7 year old really loves doing these notes. We do the table talk passage that ties in with it at breakfast time when we can. He enjoys the mini puzzles and the occasional comic strip.

Fantastic intro into the bible for kids

Our nine year old loves doing the puzzles and likes the extra gift item, in this series there is a notebook. She always wants to do the lesson before she goes to bed and is really growing in her love for the Lord. She has done several of these studies in this series. I like how it repeats in different ways what it is trying to teach to help reinforce the point. I think it is great to see how my daughters bible knowledge is being built up piece by piece and also how she is seeing how it links together. Really pleased with finding this series and thanks for the thought and effort that has gone into putting this together. Highly rated.

great- makes your child think

(Review written for 'XTB Subscription')

My 8 year old girl loves this. It's easy to use, clearly Biblical, applies for the modern world and is not shy to ask hard questions. I've just signed up for year's subscription

XTB notes for children

(Review written for 'XTB Subscription')

My daughter is very much enjoying her XTB. As a parent it is good to see your children developing a taste for learning from scripture. XTB is working for her right now. Thanks

Great resource!

(Review written for 'XTB Subscription')

Our 8 year old daughter looks forward to doing her 'bible reading' each night - it is easy for her to read alone and understand the big picture of the passage. It also has interesting activities for her. Highly recommended!!

XTB bible notes

(Review written for 'XTB Subscription')

Bought these for my daughters age 6 and 7. Both love doing their bible notes each night. My 6 year old struggles with the reading and some of the puzzles bur this doesn't deter her and with a little help she keeps up with her sister! Such a privilege to guide them as they learn from the bible themselves. The conversations we have had about the subjects they have been learning about have been amazing. The notes point them each day to the Saviour - what more can I add?!
