Excellent Study | Review by Martin Shreeve
This is the first time in our house group that we have used a Good Book Bible study guide, and we were glad we did. This was probably the best Bible study guide that we have ever used.
The study helped us get an overall grasp of the message of 1 Peter. It was also challenging, and the format of the studies encouraged everyone to participate in the discussions. The 'Getting Personal' sections were particularly liked - taking each topic into the realm of practical application.
Because this Good Book Guide was so well received, I have bought three more Good Book Bible studies for the coming year. (Posted on 9/01/10) -
Excellent | Review by Chris Smart
This Study is excellent. There is enough in each section for two to three nights of study. It exposes the central points well, connects them to the Gospel in a way that lets you see that the Gospel is for the whole of life and not just conversion. The way that the end of the study turns what you have learned into prayer has been very helpful. The guide at the back gives further points for developing the questions as the one in the guide book are more general and it helps to have extra questions to draw out people's own experiences and stories. Strong focus on community as one would expect from Mr Chester, the series editor. Overall this has been all that our group of new and mature Christians have needed. (Posted on 13/04/09)

Questions Very Confusing | Review by Donna
Our Girl's small group were very excited about starting this Study on 1st Peter, as the topics open for discussion, seemed very relevant to our ever day lives. However we were very disappointed overall; the questions were quite confusing and seemed quite repetitive. All in all, we felt that out of all the studies that we have done, this is the one that we learnt the least from. Sorry for being so negative, but there are far better study guides available from the Good Book Company (Posted on 23/01/09)

Challenging and encouraging | Review by Peter Midgley
We found this a very challenging series of studies, as well as an encouragement in living out the Christian life. The studies provoked quite a lot of discussion in our groups and (hopefully!) have equipped us to be more able to deal with the issues of living in our society (Posted on 8/12/08)

Good for 1-2-1 with young Christian | Review by Rebecca
I have been working through this with a young Christian to inspire and encourage them, and have found myself being encouraged and challenged more than I ever expected! Definitely worth working through however mature in your faith you are! (Posted on 11/11/08)

This book is a good foundation for a house group study, but as always requires group to contribute. (Posted on 15/09/08)

Interesting study with good discussion questions | Review by Anonymous
The study guide was well arranged with helpful leader's notes. The question stimulated some interesting discussion.I found some of the extra questions and deeper issues helpful. It was the first time I had used a study guide from the series, but I look forward to others in the series in the future. (Posted on 27/08/08)
