Very Good
Six of us, are studying the Women of Faith book tog. varying ages, 50 upwards,mature Christians, but all with a desire to grow in our faith and walk with God. So far we have only had the opportunity to meet together twice. but passages we thought we knew well, have challenged us, and encouraged us to dig deeper into the Scriptures, and we have learnt more about God's amazing grace and mercy to us. I was recommended the series by my daughter, the wife of a leader in a New Frontier's Church.

Monday was our first night and the study of Eve was powerful and well written. I especially appreciated the connection to Philippians 2 – it is so important to weave Christ through the whole of Scripture and you did an outstanding job with this! Thank you for a wonderful resource and for your attentiveness to our ordering needs.
Interesting
An interesting book which is provoking some challenging discussions amongst our small group.
Not for our group
Our group has been a little disappointed with the Women in Faith booklet. It is a little condesending and asks (what we feel were) silly personal questions.
On the other hand we think the booklet could be of some assistance for a group who have recently discovered Christ and are exploring their beliefs.
Incredibly challenging and encouraging
God has really used this book to challenge and encourage me over the last few weeks. I would recommend it to any woman seeking to really live for Jesus.
very encouraging
I am co-leading a small group with one of my friends at university, we thought that it would be a good idea to get some of the girls together to do a bible study so that we can discuss relevant topics to us. When searching for a study guide we came across women of faith, which we decided was perfect for what we wanted to do. The aim of our meeting together is to encourage and build each other up, while at the same time having open discussions about what we struggle with on a daily basis with an aim to support each other. The studies are going well so far and I personally have found them very encouraging, realising more and more that God can use us no matter how often we fail Him, He is an ever faithful God. xxx
A good Bible study guide.
I used this for my personal quiet times rather than a group Bible study. The notes were helpful and thought provoking although they tended to focus on the wider issues and stories rather than on the women themselves. This was not necessarily a bad thing but was not quite what I expected.
A challenging and relevant study guide
I am studying this book with my friends and we are really enjoying working through it. The questions are challenging and relevant. We also like the fact that some of the 'Women of Faith' are less well known women in the Bible.
