very encouraging | Review by Anonymous
I am co-leading a small group with one of my friends at university, we thought that it would be a good idea to get some of the girls together to do a bible study so that we can discuss relevant topics to us. When searching for a study guide we came across women of faith, which we decided was perfect for what we wanted to do. The aim of our meeting together is to encourage and build each other up, while at the same time having open discussions about what we struggle with on a daily basis with an aim to support each other. The studies are going well so far and I personally have found them very encouraging, realising more and more that God can use us no matter how often we fail Him, He is an ever faithful God. xxx (Posted on 29/03/10)

A good Bible study guide. | Review by Y Selby
I used this for my personal quiet times rather than a group Bible study. The notes were helpful and thought provoking although they tended to focus on the wider issues and stories rather than on the women themselves. This was not necessarily a bad thing but was not quite what I expected. (Posted on 22/09/09)

A challenging and relevant study guide | Review by Anonymous
I am studying this book with my friends and we are really enjoying working through it. The questions are challenging and relevant. We also like the fact that some of the 'Women of Faith' are less well known women in the Bible.
Thank you for this thought provoking study guide! (Posted on 2/02/09) -

A different approach to studying the OT | Review by R Hancox
My study group found getting to know the women of the OT in this way very rewarding - names we knew little of came to life. Some of the questions provoked much comment, others were qite bland and rather obvious. But why no Ruth, Delilah, Lot's Wife ? Could we have a 8 Men of the OT ? (Posted on 1/12/07)

best study done in ages | Review by anne snook
Great discussions but we split the studies over 2 weeks as bit much for our hour slot. Helpful leaders notes at back. Best book we've done in ages. (Posted on 13/11/07)

Excellent | Review by Gail Owens
An excellent resource for new Christian women, or those that have never had any teaching on The biblical role of women.
Sadly in my experience most Churches fail to teach on the complimentary roles for men and women. This study addresses key issues, like God loves and values women, how we women should live to please God, women's ministry within the local Church.
I gained a lot from this study and recommend it to anyone. (Posted on 2/07/07)
