Great Bible Study book for my 7 year old | Review by Anonymous
My 7 year old thinks that this is great. It has promise stickers to stick in on days when we remember God's promises. It is bright and colourful and does not shy away from difficult topics - a great way of getting your children to really enjoy studying god's word - I am really impressed with this book and will be buying the whole series. A helpful way of helping your child interact with the text. | Review by Stephen Rae
This is the first time we have used XTB. It is a great complement to the related Table Talk material and our 7 year old's attention is sustained through all the activities. I would recommend this book and the overall approach, especially in conjunction with Table Talk. In addition to the value of the biblical material covered, we are also enjoying the joy of gathering around God's word together as a family. (Posted on 31/03/10)

Good start | Review by Elspeth Pitt
Excellent material - useful way to establish a regular time of responsive bible devotions. I would say ideal for 7-9 year olds. (Posted on 22/02/10)

Great little book | Review by Sarah Cundill
My 7 year old daughter loves this, especially the stickers. It's a bitesize chunk we can do together or she could do alone, which encourages her to find her way round the bible and to pray. It also has little puzzles etc so it's not straight words. Haven't tried any of the other titles but impressed so far. (Posted on 17/02/10)

Excellent Bible reading material for 8-11 year olds. | Review by Jayne Farrant
My 10 year old son is thoroughly enjoying this xtb book. He has done most of the rest of the series and yet is still eager to do more of them. We have found this xtb series of Bible-reading notes to be excellent, providing a great 5min Bible time before our children go to bed. (Posted on 6/12/09)

A great way to help children have their own Bible reading time.i | Review by Laura Cross
We bought this for our 6 year old daughter, having already used the Table Talk version, which we found to be really useful. Our daughter had begun with Summer Signposts and enjoyed it and benefited from it. So this seemed the next good thing to get for her. For each day there is a good mixture of a short passage to read from the Bible, a bit of application, a fun puzzle and a prayer. She REALLY likes the stickers too! It is good that each reading is only numbered, not dated, so it doesn't matter if it is not done every day. We have found this (and the others we have used in the range) to be a valuable resource as we teach our children about God and encourage them to build their own relationship with Him. great! | Review by Anonymous
We love the way these studies help our children to learn more about God and get into the habit of reading his word for themselves and then praying in response. Our children love the little activities and way in which they can do parts by themselves. (Posted on 3/09/09)

Clear, fun, helpful and enjoyable Bible study notes for children | Review by Malcolm Ingham (41) & Charlotte Ingham (9)
I could tell you how much I think XTB is a great series of Bible study notes for children, but I don't actually use them - I'm too old! So I asked Charlotte (who does use them) to write this review.
"I really enjoyed this issue and children my age will understand it a lot. I like the way that you set it out and helped me to be a chatterbox for Jesus. I like the stickers and they probably help people understand and enjoy it more."
It certainly has helped Charlotte who is still using XTB and together we are also using Table Talk - but that must be another review... (Posted on 30/03/09) -
Generally good | Review by Anonymous
Just one issue - the questions where words needed to be filled in have been written to be used with a Good News Bible. The first question in the first book has the word 'gift' as the answer and this word isn't is in the appropriate verse in the International Children's Bible, which many children use. Otherwise, a very good resource. (Posted on 24/03/09)
