So far my daughter has found the notes inspiring and encouraging. (Posted on 18/07/10)

  2. Colourful and well written   |   Review by David Allsopp

I found this to be the best of the bunch for my teenage daughters. (Posted on 29/05/10)

  3. Excellent resource for young people   |   Review by Ruth Cargill

I bought this for my daughter who wanted Bible Study notes in a format similar to ours (Explore) but aimed at her age range (14). She is really enjoying the studies, as are my husband and I when we do a study with her. (Posted on 4/05/10)

  4.   really great   |   Review by Hannah, 16

although i've been a Christian for a while, i've always found reading the bible every day a struggle..
this was a really great, because you could date each page yourself - which i found useful for example if i missed a day here and there, i wouldnt feel so bad about being a day behind, and would just be able to date it a day later. it was also good because i could spend as much time or as little time depending on each day. These were the first notes i've actaully done end to end! (Posted on 1/12/09)

  5.   Fantastic, makes Bible reading really enjoyable   |   Review by Tim (age 15)

I was given Engage on a CYFA camp and they make reading the Bible really fun - they have a great structure every day, especially The Bottom Line, which gives you something to remember. Also, they are undated which is really helpful.

First notes I've enjoyed reading. (Posted on 13/09/09)

  6.   Keep up the good work of keeping it fresh   |   Review by Anonymous

I’m perhaps a bit long in the tooth for it as I gather the target readership is teenagers and although I’ve only completed two thirds of book one, but I like the format. It’s a change from the usual (what I sometimes feel) dry format of date at the top of the page, read this passage, now read this comment.

The book overviews are also helpful – so often in sermons and Bible Studies the passage is waded into with no thought for the background to the book or it’s context and being able to sit at home in peace and quiet and go through the passage at one’s own pace and without a date to pressurise one into doing it “that day”, allowing one to go through a passage for two days if such a situation would be beneficial, I also find advantageous.

I also think the way the books are produced physically shows a high degree of thought – it’s not just a cheaply made booklet but something that can be kept and be useful for a reference. It is my intention – if this is not “over the top” – to produce an of which chapters of which book and book overview are in each issue. I have issue 2 and am wondering if you are going to come up with twenty different colours for the five years worth of volumes!

Do keep up the good work. (Posted on 30/06/09)

  7.   uncomplicated and easy to use   |   Review by Anonymous

the best notes for my age group i've come across in a long time. thought provoking notes that encouraged me to read books of the bible i often ignored before. and it was short enough to fit into my busy lifestyle! liking the bright colours! overall, a thumps up, but could have been more in depth in areas. 8.   Engage review   |   Review by Tom Samuel

I am 15 and I have recently begun using the Engage Bible Reading notes by the Good Book Company. I like the titles for each day. I think they make you want to read on and find out why is that there. The question are good, but could be more personalised and related to how we act now. The notes are well structured and help us understand the passage well. The prayer points are helpful and the bottom line sums up the main points well for each day.
Overall I am finding them very useful and I am looking forward to continuing using them. (Posted on 18/12/08)

  9.   So far so good.   |   Review by John McGeorge

This product was purchased for our older son, who has recently undergone believers baptism classes. Although it is early days it seems to be provivding beneficial background to scripture and has increased topical family debates. (Posted on 20/11/08)

  10.   Needs more pictures   |   Review by Patric Mak

Engage is for my 14 year old boy. The following comments are his honest feedback. :
    1. He thinks that some pictures will be much better. Only wordings are quite boring to him.
    2. Content-wise, the bibical explanations are quite well... but again too dry (without illustrations)
    3. He reads 5 days a week in average.

All in all, Engage is a good way to guide (systematically) my teenage boy to read the bible regularly.
Please don't read my boy's feedback as negative. Patric
