Kids love to dream about what they might do when they grow up: jobs they might have, places they might go, people they might meet. And parents and caregivers love to encourage and support them.
But for Christian parents, their greatest aspiration for their children, their dream of all dreams, is that whatever their kids do and wherever they go, they will love and follow Jesus.
As children embark on life’s journey with all their potential and aspirations, express to them your biggest dream with this beautiful illustrated rhyming children’s book.
As well as teaching children about the only thing that really matters in life, this book also reminds parents that telling their kids about Jesus is more important than anything else.
Makes a wonderful gift for a wide range of children—from 4 year olds to 8 year olds and even beyond—for birthdays, Christmas or graduation.

This will become an all-time favorite read-aloud! What every parent wants to say— and what every child wants to hear. There's nothing you want your child to know more than what this charming book sings in lyrical, romping lines—lines that will tie your heart to your child's and wrap you both up in the love of God and the supremest dream we all have to know. My daughter and I were so smitten with it that we read it twice right away!
I wish I had this book when my kids were little! It is simple. No matter what our kids dream, we want them to love Jesus and walk with him all their lives. You'll love reading this book as a family!
Having loved Dr Seuss since childhood, I am excited to share this book with my grandchildren. This title will inspire many conversations. I love how it values all paths children might take. I love how the Kingdom will come through children starting their big dreams with Jesus.
I love this new book for this very reason. It gives parents a tool to share with little ones the hope that we have in Jesus. This picture book can help us communicate that though we are excited for the future and full of big dreams for our kids, in the end, we humbly pray and hope that they love and trust Jesus first of all.... continue reading
What I like about the book:
• appealing rhyme and the rhythm it develops, making it appealing to ALL ages.
• Hardcover book in the style of the "I can Read books" of my childhood like Sammy the Seal, Danny and the Dinosaur, and more modern Dr. Seuss Hardback books. Thick nice pages inside, make it a book that will endure a family with many children. It feels good. Right sized as well.
• Illustrations- the pages are fun, busy, and the characters and items are a bit silly or quirky, but it adds to the appeal.... continue reading
Melissa Kruger has written a fun, poetic, and timeless book. This is a great resource for starting gospel conversations with your children in a natural and casual way. This is the Christian equivalent to Dr. Seuss’ “Oh, The Places You Go” except in this book, the readers are left with the hope of Jesus.... continue reading
Amazing book, manages to make me cry every time we read it, which is a lot. Great reminder to pray over our son to first of all have Jesus in his heart
This might sound crazy but this is my 6 month old baby's favourite book! Since he was 3 months old we've read it daily. Just like the songs we sing him about Jesus, the rhythm of the writing caught his attention immediately and he loves looking at the pictures too. I can quote it by heart when we are out and about and it calms him like a lullaby. We know he can't understand it yet but he loves it now and we hope that joy will grow as God grows him and gifts him understanding. It's also an important prayer for us as parents that we would really honour Jesus first in the way we raise our little one, which is the ethos of this book. We love it!
I loved this book, I gave it to all my preschool Sunday school children this summer. It was exactly what I wanted them to know!
An inspiring book its illustrations are excellent and its message so important and yet so simple. One of the best young children's books I have seen for a long time! Highly recommended
I loved reading this book to my kids. The rhyming and design of the book make it seem like a Dr. Seuss book, but the message is so much better because it is about Christ. I hope more books come along in this same Dr. Seuss style.
When I saw this book I had to buy it. Such a wonderful book, beautifully worded with amazing illustrations. I bought it and my child also received it as a gift.
Heart warming, inspiring Biblical truth illustrated with stunning pictures. Bought to read with my 4 year old every night-before-the first day of the school year & to get his teachers to write a message in. Chance to share gospel hope with his teachers as they sign it. Son has asked for it multiple times. We love it.
SPOILER ALERT last line says “And whatever you do, wherever you start, I pray you love Jesus with all of your heart.” What a great thing for our kids to hear us say to them every evening?!
This book is a sweet prayer for all children. It would make a lovely gift for any newborn or graduate.
What I like about the book:
• Appealing rhyme and the rhythm it develops, making it appealing to ALL ages.
• Hardcover, nice thick pages, make it a book that will endure. It feels good. Right sized. Illustrations-fun, busy, the characters and items are quirky. Text is well formatted with emphasis on key words.
• Multi-ethnic people throughout the book, children need to see people who look like they do.
• The theme of the book, a BIG DREAM, is delivered by the Narrator of the book (hint, the one who reads it aloud- me or you!) has a BIG DREAM for YOU! That big HOPE is that the child "will love Jesus with all of your heart."
• Message of who Jesus is, tells us who He is, and what He has done for us, and what He is doing for us. That represents the full gospel according to Titus 2:11-13, and I love the fun way this is the clear message.
Educational Connections
• Career choices, Travel, Writing, Science, Culture, Growth Mindset- Emotions, Adventures
• Walking and talking with Jesus- the Way, Truth, and Life. Can easily teach about the Holy Spirit and God, full trinity. Prayer. Following Jesus. King Jesus, His Word- the Bible, characteristics of God- faithful and true. Sanctification- making things new.
Wonders or additions that add value to the book:
• Bible verses or references , how to lead a child to Christ
Illustrations:
• a corded phone vs. chatting face to face, I suppose this is generic conversation, but this generation of parents have not all seen a corded phone!
• Adults reading a red book with a cross on it- representing a Bible, but I wish it said BIBLE.
