About this book

Inspire kids to trust God and to forgive others through this inspiring biography of Corrie ten Boom.

Kids will learn how, in 1940, Corrie ten Boom and her family helped to hide as many Jewish people as possible from the invading Germans. They even had a secret room built in her bedroom.

Corrie and her sister were caught by the German army and sent to a concentration camp. Corrie’s trust in God gave her the strength to go on until the war ended. From then on, Corrie talked about her life to big crowds, saying, “There’s no pit so deep that God’s love is not deeper still."

Barbara Reaoch Former Director, Children's Division, Bible Study Fellowship

As a parent, I want my children to be shaped and influenced by the steadfast lives of other Christians. The "Do Great Things for God" series by Laura Caputo-Wickham is a wonderful introduction to faithful women who courageously served the Lord in a variety of ways. These stories teach as they inspire, and your children will be blessed to learn about Betsey Stockton’s missionary dream and Corrie Ten Boom’s secret room.

A great book for young kids telling about the life of Corrie Ten Boom and what she did to help and show love to those she didn’t even know. Mission at work fulfilling the Acts 1:8 mandate , to the ends of the earth.

Such a big fan of this series!
As Corrie’s testimony has been impactful in my own faith and walk with the Lord, I was so excited to have a resource to introduce Corrie’s story to my young girls. The illustrations are engaging and the narrative is simple, yet powerful. With quotes of Scripture throughout, this picture book for young readers highlights the presence of God in the midst of life’s deepest pits. Highly recommend!
