About this book

A humorous introduction to Christianity by Rico Tice and Nate Morgan Locke which invites readers to look at the presents under God’s tree. They’ll discover some very different things about God, about themselves and about Christmas, and how Jesus really is everything they could ever hope for.

This page-turner is accessible for those who have never heard the gospel before, and gripping for those who think they have heard it all before. Ideal for giving away to friends and family as a gift, and cheap enough for churches to buy to give out at services this December (bulk deals available).

Buy it, read it, give it away!

Behind the expensive Christmas is a generous God and this little book leads to the riches  of Christ. If you know Christ, then buy this for others who don't—if you want to know Christ, then buy it for yourself.

Simon Manchester Retired Senior Minister, St. Thomas' North Sydney, Australia

Immediately engaging, this excellent little book will take you to the very heart of Christmas.

Terry Virgo New Frontiers

Compelling, creative and clear, this is a wonderful Christmas book for believers to enjoy and then to give as a gift to seekers and skeptics. The theological underpinnings are sound, without being dry or preachy.

Rebecca Manley Pippert Author of Out of the Saltshaker; founder of Becky Pippert Ministries

This amusingly engaging but powerful and memorable message explains the reality and relevance of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Through the familiar picture of gifts around a Christmas tree, Rico draws the reader into contemplating the most precious gifts we have ever been given by God.

Debbie Flood Olympic silver medallist; double world champion rower

I will be giving this superb book away to enquirers with confidence and expectation. Profound while being simple, engaging without being patronising.

Adrian Reynolds Head of National Ministries, FIEC UK

This may be the first Christmas that you’ve ever read a book like this.  Or it may be a reminder of why you’ve been celebrating Christmas all these years.  In any case, A Very Different Christmas is a winsome, provocative invitation to go beyond the tinsel and shopping and to be given a gift that is greater than anything you had ever imagined.

Michael S. Horton Professor of Theology and Apologetics, Westminster Seminary, California

I spend much of my life with sportspeople. Every year, in preparing for Christmas, I spend a day or two working out what I might give them that points to the great news of Jesus Christ in a clear and compelling way. This year they will all be getting a copy of A Very Different Christmas.

A great book to give to a non Christian friend to get them to think about the best gift they could ever receive. It's written in a personable and relatable way.

5.00 stars The Best Christmas Book

As an Evangelist I read many books that focus on sharing the gospel, many fail to clearly present the message of Jesus in a engaging and truthful manner. This book, however, is brilliant! It is clear, engaging and faithful to the gospel. If you want a non-Christians to understand the good news, then give them a copy of this book.

5.00 stars excellent

An excellent book. Short, good to read and lays out the gospel clearly and unflinchingly. Highly recommended.
