One of the most important ways we can train young children is to teach them what is right as well as teach them what is wrong. In the Training Young Hearts series Abbey Wedgeworth faithfully shows children how to live while also telling them the good news of God’s grace. These board books are such an engaging (and fun!) way to teach big truths to young hearts.

Your Incredible Eyes by Abbey Wedgeworth, illustrated with charm and warmth by Emma Randall, is a beautifully crafted picture book that invites children to explore and celebrate the gift of sight. Your Incredible Eyes is part of a favorite series in our home, and this installment is as wonderful as the others. In simple, engaging language, it helps children understand that their eyes were created by God and that how we use them matters.

The book explores both ways we can honor God with our eyes—and ways we sometimes don’t—offering clear, age-appropriate teaching without being heavy or shaming. As with the rest of the series, the gospel is woven in naturally, ...

5.00 stars Gospel-centered book that would be a great addition to any children's library.

Delightful and diverse illustrations with easy rhymes for kids to learn about all the good things God has created our eyes to do, those things we ought not to do, and bringing it home to the most important thing - what Jesus has done for us. The focus on heart change over behavior change is something I think is important to discuss with kids and also greatly lacking in children’s literature. This is a great addition to the “Training Young Hearts” series and I love to see more gospel-centered books on the market for children.
